I finished making SEND-IT II (Undong) right at the end of 2017. Like its predecessor (SEND-IT, 2014), an imaginary journey develops, but this time venturing into Korean modern history (with reference to several key dates) as well as expressing new militaristic tensions being felt in the region at the time of making the piece. Again the central figure can be read as an anonymous, slightly comic character, but the film drifts in and out of seriousness.
