bio

Reading time:

I make minimal, conceptual and performance works, using a variety of media, processes, genres and forms.

While never losing sight of an exploration of Korean culture and politics, my work repeatedly addresses ideas of passage, movement, ‘ways’ and journeys.

I was born in Jeju Island, Korea, raised in Seoul, and moved to UK in 1997 to become a London-based artist. I studied BA Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts, London (Sculpture) 1999-2002.
