Wig Piece (2002)
Among many who had said ‘no’ , one shop owner in Kilburn High Road said yes to me. But I must do the the job – the shopkeeper told me – before the shop opened in the morning.
A friend of mine helped me with her camera and a paper backdrop was temporarily pinned up. I managed to wear about a dozen wigs until the owner got impatient and ushered us out.
