After looking at this work,and during a critical meeting at the class, a lecturer asked me if I had had an experience of sexual violence, .
I was very surprised by this question. Even though the answer was no, it made me think a lot about what I subconsciously did for the work. It was also the first time I understood something about the term ‘uncanny’ as, beyond my intention, the work had accidentally taken on certain sinister implications.
