This came from my affection for The British Museum. At the beginning of being in London, I would visit the place so often.

Among the vast collections, one of the most striking places could be the Egyptian Department. Especially the room where ‘death & afterlife mummies’ exhibiting is always crowded with people.
It wasn’t only that I was fascinated with the collections, I was also interested in watching the audience’s curious eyes. Those numerous eyes, all different generations of eyes, watching ‘your eye’.

I had this vision. And I had just finished a seven-week elective programme at the ceramics department in the college in my first year. I felt therefore a bit of confidence in handling clay, and started to build the skull. It was sort of an accidental decision not to fire the work because of lacking time for an assessment. It turned out to be a lucky one that I like.
